Bean Automotive Group Joins Dolphins Challenge Cancer

The search for a cure for cancer continues, and in this search, great organizations like The Miami Dolphins have been running a race for twelve years to raise funds to help research the disease at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, a part of UHealth, the University of Miami Health System.

On February 26, 2022, the Dolphins Challenge Cancer XII (DCCXII) race was held again at Hard Rock Stadium, and Bean Automotive Group had the opportunity to participate and support it in collaboration with Lexus USA. The Bean Auto team is led by President and CEO Chris Roberts and other team members including Arsenio Almonte, Desiree Ramos, Larry Jackson, Jorge Espina, Ariel Marrero, George Valdés, Jorge Caso and Yeni García represented us in the best way in the 100-mile race passing the finish line. Over 4,300 participants endured long hours under the intense heat of Miami but always committed to the cause. The Miami Dolphins announced that DCCXII raised a record $7.4 million.

Since 2010, the initiative has aimed to help research and innovation of new treatments to save lives and support people who are currently fighting to win the battle against cancer in our community. Thanks to the solidarity of the participants, sponsors, and the great work carried out by the DCC organization, more than $45.5 million have been raised and the funds are destined in their entirety to life-saving cancer research in Sylvester.

Everyone has had a friend or family member touched by cancer.  Hopefully, soon the cure will be found, efforts like these help to make that wait shorter.

La búsqueda de una cura para el cáncer continúa, y en esta búsqueda, grandes organizaciones como The Miami Dolphins han estado corriendo una carrera durante doce años para recaudar fondos para ayudar a investigar la enfermedad en el Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, parte de UHealth, Sistema de Salud de la Universidad de Miami.

El 26 de febrero de 2022 se corrió nuevamente la carrera Dolphins Challenge Cáncer XII (DCCXII) en el Hard Rock Stadium, y Bean Automotive Group tuvo la oportunidad de participar y apoyarla en colaboración con Lexus USA. El equipo de Bean Auto encabezado por el presidente y director ejecutivo Chris Roberts y otros miembros del equipo, incluidos Arsenio Almonte, Desiree Ramos, Larry Jackson, Jorge Espina, Ariel Marrero, George Valdés, Jorge Caso y Yeni García nos representaron de la mejor manera en la carrera de 100 millas pasando la línea de meta. Todos ellos y otros miles de participantes soportaron largas horas bajo el intenso calor de Miami, pero siempre comprometidos con la causa. Los Miami Dolphins anunciaron que DCCXII recaudó un récord de $7.4 millones.
