School Celebration for Teacher of the Year

Bean Automotive Group proudly joined South Miami Middle Community School last Friday in celebrating Miami-Dade County’s Teacher of the Year, Roberto Rabelo, with a special ceremony recognizing his outstanding dedication and impact in the classroom. The event brought together community leaders, educators, and community members to recognize Mr. Rabelo dedication and impact on students.

As part of the ceremony, Mari Tere Rojas, School Board Chair, presented the school’s principal with an official proclamation, recognizing the school’s continued commitment to academic excellence. Javier Fernandez, Mayor of South Miami, also took part in the celebration, presenting a Certificate of Excellence to Chris Roberts, CEO of Bean Automotive Group, and the Bean Team for their ongoing support of education in the community. In a special moment, Bean Automotive Group surprised Mr. Rabelo with a custom banner in recognition of his achievements.

The event also featured remarks from distinguished speakers, including Tony White, President of United Teachers of Dade, Ron Magill, Zoo Miami Foundation Conservation Liaison, and Chris Roberts, CEO of Bean Automotive Group. Each shared thoughtful words highlighting the importance of passionate educators and the lasting impact they have on future generations.
